    Whatever happened happened... or not?

It's a title of one of LOST's episode. Hm... sometimes i really believe in destiny: if i didn't go there then i wouldn't meet my future bff... or if i didn't decide to walk i wouldn't find some money, e.g =).

But on the other hand, i don't think that there's only fate, destiny, destination and nothing more. No, i guess there's such thing as accident. Hey, i'm truly confused...

I'm so glad that i studied at school (and i miss it already, yeap). When i was in the 9th or 10th grade we were learning Lermontov. I really think he's an amazing writer. I probably love him better than Pushkin cuz Pushkin is adored by everybody and i dont wanna be like all (i know, it's stupid).

So, Lermontov wrote a great novel Hero of Our Time. As for me, i'm sure that i'm too young to understand it (and i actually don't get it) sad But one of parts called "Fatalist". It's about a guy who sincerely believed in fate. I don't think it would be interesting if i retell you all this chapter, that's why i wanna tell only about the end of the novel: Fatalist was very self-confident and when a drunk soldier has gone he became his accidental victim. He died...

Oh, i'm very-very sorry but i can't tell what i think in English. Actually i can't do this in Russian... just read it please. Only one thought i can say is if you believe in God, fate, etc. it's not bad but you really need to believe in yourself. There's no need to be afraid of death cuz eventually it will definitely happen to all of us.

It's funny that we both blogged about the same topic: fate, destiny or as I mention at my site, signs. I believe in these things, but like you said, I think you should also believe in yourself. You're the one who makes things happen. Like fate could bring two people together but it's still up to those people to make it work.

I've never heard of that novel before, but I read the Wiki and it sounds interesting.
